First impressions are that this is a solid, well thought out system laid out in easy to follow steps. What The Magic of Making Up gives you is a plan and it walks you through the entire process to make sure that all possibilities are covered. The author, TW Jackson, makes it clear that he’s not some kind of psychologist or relationship counselor but it’s obvious he knows what he’s talking about.
This is a guy who’s been there, done that and can really feel your pain. You know those moments when you’d do ANYTHING including totally humiliating yourself in order to get your lover back? TW’s got your back and, if you listen to him, not only will you not pick up the phone/send that text but you’ll feel a whole lot more in control of the entire situation.
The Magic of Making Up is not just a collection of techniques that may or may not help you get a lover back – it takes a much more rounded approach which is why it has worked so well for so many people. If you’re going to get a lover back, you need a strategy. The Magic of Making Up gives you one, taking you from a place of understanding the core reasons why lovers break up and leading you on to getting your head straight.
I particularly liked the getting your head straight section as it pointed out all those things you should never, ever do if you want to get a lover back. From there, you go on to the assessing section where you learn to understand the difficulties that exist in your relationship and to decide if this really is something worth fighting for (in my case a resounding ‘yesssssss!’).
The last section gives you a very practical plan to follow, giving you some techniques that have been proven to work to get a lover back but making sure you use them in context of all you have already learned. In my opinion, this is the real strength of The Magic of Making Up as it gives it real weight and authority when compared to some other guides on how to get an ex back.
Some of these techniques include:
• The Instant Reconnect Technique (simple but extremely clever)
• The Fast Forward Technique (very subtle and highly effective)
• The Clean Slate Method (complex so not for everyone)
• The Second Chance Letter (my favorite!)
Of all of these, I’d pick out the Second Chance Letter simply because it worked so well for me. Will it work for you? I don’t know – but if you follow the rest of TW’s advice I’m sure that, if this tactic doesn’t work, there will be one in The Magic of Making Up that does like gangbusters.
So – the big question: Did I get my lover back? Yes and the best thing about it is that our relationship is a lot better for following the advice in this system. It’s not perfect – what system is? – but it’s sane, sound advice from someone you feel you can trust. It’s worked for thousands of other people and I feel absolutely confident in saying I am sure it will work for you too.
